Open access courses in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan
No referral needed
The Primary Mental Health Support Service offers a range of educational open access courses for adults in the local community. Even though some of the courses have already started, you can join in at any stage, and make up missed sessions at the next round. Each session is self-contained so there is no need to worry about falling behind.
Because of fire regulations we are limited at some venues to a certain number of participants, for this reason we recommend that you arrive in good time as all open access courses are available on a 'first come first served' basis and once we have reached the room limit we will have to restrict entry.
The staff work closely with other services within your community that might be of benefit to you. In some circumstances, you will be able to meet with a member of staff in person, for a more in-depth discussion that considers practical problem solving.
Please note that although you can come to either course they do take different approaches, for this reason we recommend that you do not attend ACT-ion for Living and Stress Control at the same time.
